Tom Huddlestone has sent Hull City fans into overdrive after seemingly dropping a big hint over his future.
The midfielder has been back with the Tigers as they’ve prepared for the new Championship season, and played in their final run-out against Manchester United Under-23s on Saturday.
The 34-year-old played 75 minutes, having played against Scunthorpe United the week previous, and rolled back the years with a superb 25-yard strike to open the scoring in the 2-0 victory.
Huddlestone linked back up with his old club last week in a bid to get himself match fit as he looks for a new club, having been a free agent since being released by Derby County last year.

A permanent return to the MKM Stadium would prove very popular with supporters, although City boss Grant McCann has insisted a decision is yet to be made on the midfielder’s future.
Huddlestone though appears to have hinted that he might be staying with the Tigers with a message on social media.
Referencing a photo of himself coming up against former City team-mate Paul McShane, who turned out for United’s U23s, Huddlestone tweeted: “Nice run out again today. Great effort from the boys. Two young squads (except the guys in the photo) going at it. Now the season is upon us.”
The tweet certainly didn’t go unnoticed by Tigers fans, with plenty getting excited at the prospect of Huddlestone making his return to the club permanent.
“Come on, give us the news we’re all waiting for, Tom. Have you signed for City yet?” wrote one supporter.
Another replied: “Just come back, do ridiculous things with a football, and let’s have a massive laugh.”
And the tweet even got the seal of approval from another former City favourite as Kamil Grosicki got involved.
Supporters though might have to wait a little while for a decision to be made, with McCann in no rush to make a decision yet.
“He’s gone 75 minutes (against United) and we’ll assess him over the next day or two, there’s going to be no rush I terms of any decision, from both parties really.
““We’re helping Tom, he’s helping us and having him around our younger players is great.”
