The South West is set to be hit be rain and strong winds as Storm Evert sweeps across the region.
Forecasters at the Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for wind, which in place between 8pm today (July 29) and 12pm on Friday (July 30).
The national forecaster is warning of “a spell of strong to gale force winds which may cause damage to infrastructure and lead to travel disruption”.

Widespread gusts of 60-65mph are expected with possibly up to 75mph along exposed coasts, the Met Office has predicted.
The weather warning covers the length of the Somerset coastline, as well as parts of Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.
