A man has been arrested by police in Gibraltar after “behaving disruptively” onboard a flight from Bristol Airport.
The passenger boarded the 6.35am easyJet flight today (July 29) but was arrested when the plane landed on suspicion of assault, affray and “being drunk on an aircraft”.
Royal Gibraltar Police received a call from the plane captain alerting officers to the incident.

The police force has issued an appeal for video of what happened on the flight.
A spokesman for easyJet said: “We can confirm that police met flight EZY6299 from Bristol to Gibraltar on Thursday on arrival in Gibraltar, due to a passenger behaving disruptively onboard.
“easyJet’s cabin crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.
“Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour.
“The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew is easyJet’s highest priority.”
A Royal Gibraltar Police statement reads: “After a call from the captain, Royal Gibraltar Police officers met today’s easyJet flight from Bristol and arrested a 33-year-old male on suspicion of assault, affray and being drunk on an aircraft.
