A new East Asian-inspired fast food restaurant is opening “soon” in Bath.
Itsu, a healthy eating, Asian food brand with more than 70 stores in the UK, is to open its first site in the city centre this summer.
Placards advertising the new shop have been placed in the window of the Stall Street unit with the promise that it will be open soon.

The fast food chain has taken the spot which was formerly the shoe shop Hotter.
Itsu has huge global ambitions, with a commitment to continue to open many more stores across the UK.
The company was set up by Julian Metcalfe, a co-founder of sandwich chain Pret A Manger and founder of Metcalfe’s Food Company, in partnership with Clive Schlee.

Mr Metcalfe “fell in love with the harmony and precision” of Japanese food after a visit to Tokyo in 1994.
He said: “I returned home determined to create a new kind of food place altogether.
“I had no idea how hard it would be, but Itsu Chelsea opened in 1997, itsu Soho three years later, followed by 75 more over the next 20 years.”
The fast food chain offers a number of authentic Japanese and Asian dishes including gyozas, sushi and sharing platters.
Itsu has been contacted for comment.
