Brad Takairangi will start in the halves for Hull KR after Joe Keyes was overlooked for tonight’s clash with Wigan Warriors.
Keyes had been hoping to make his first Rovers appearance in almost a year after Mikey Lewis (concussion) joined Jordan Abdull on the sidelines.
However, Tony Smith has opted to go with Takairangi in the halves, where he played when the Robins beat Wigan at the DW Stadium in June.
That move has allowed Smith to get Ethan Ryan back into the side following his recovery from a long-standing wrist issue.
Luis Johnson has been recalled as a direct replacement for Dean Hadley in the second row after he was given a breather last weekend.
Hadley misses out after sustaining a dislocated shoulder in that win over Leigh Centurions.
George Lawler and Albert Vete have been promoted to the starting side with Korbin Sims and Will Maher dropping to the bench.
Ben Crooks continues at full-back in the absence of Adam Quinlan and Will Dagger.
