Crockpot Creamy Chicken Pasta is just the hearty, family-friendly meal you need in your life. Tender chicken in a creamy sauce with Italian seasoning inspired by the Olive Garden Italian Dressing!
Creamy chicken pasta is the number one kid-approved meal in our house, along with mince and tatties! This slow cooker version of my Chicken Alfredo is just as popular and so, so easy!
I recently saw a recipe shared on Facebook for Crockpot Olive Garden Chicken Pasta using their Italian Dressing and I was instantly hooked!
Turns out that Olive Garden Signature Italian Dressing is worth its weight in gold in the UK, so I set out to recreate the recipe using the spices and ingredients in the dressing.
This is sort of my version of Crockpot Olive Garden Chicken and it is all kinds of yummy! My kids devoured the creamy chicken sauce with pasta while my husband and I enjoyed it over rice.
Here’s What You Will Need
- Seasoning: garlic and onion powder, Italian herbs, chilli flakes, salt and pepper
- Dijon mustard
- Skinless chicken breasts or skinless chicken thighs
- Full fat cream cheese – be warned, low fat cream cheese is likely to curdle and split!
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Noodles – I prefer to cook the pasta on the stove and stir it into the creamy sauce. Use ziti or any other dried pasta that holds on the sauce well
- Flat leaf parsley, to garnish

Shred the chicken using two forks in the slow cooker. Meanwhile, cook your choice of pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain, reserving some of the cooking water.
Add the pasta to the slow cooker and stir to coat in the creamy sauce. Add a little of the cooking water, as needed, to loosen the sauce. Stir in the parmesan. Serve with chopped flat leaf parsley and season to taste.
