We’re quickly coming to the business end of the season with games coming thick and fast, and being postponed at the same rate, it seems.
Maybe the 18 games needed to claim a play-off place needs to be looked at again as it’s of no fault of the clubs who have yet to reach that total and are at risk of not reaching it all.
The League Leaders’ Shield looks all but wrapped up by the Catalan Dragons, they’re now my tip for this shield and to make the Grand Final too at Old Trafford.
Saints look very well placed too in second to secure this spot.
The Grand Final I believe will be played out between the Challenge Cup winners and last season’s champions St Helens and my League Leaders’ Shield winners Catalan Dragons.
The other four play-off places will be Warrington, Wigan, Hull KR (given they reach the threshold of 18 games) and Leeds Rhinos.
Just as always my opinion and likely all wrong given my tipping in rugby league. Yet the end of the disruptive 2021 season should and will be a cracker.
Then we move onto the play-offs which should make amazing viewing that’s for sure!
