A crash on the M5 has caused lane closures and traffic disruption this evening.
The collision happened at around 8:30pm today (Thursday August 5) between junction 23 A39 (Bridgwater North) and junction 22 (Burnham-on-Sea).
Drivers have been warned to approach the area with caution.

At around 9pm, Highways England reported that they were at the scene and attached a picture of an overturned caravan.
In a tweet they said: “M5 J23 Bridgwater northbound to J22 BurnhamOnSea we are on scene with a road traffic collision with @ASPolice.
“We currently have lane closures in place at this time. Please approach with caution and obey signals set.”
Inrix said: “Two lanes closed due to accident on M5 Northbound from J23 A39 (Bridgwater North) to J22 (Burnham-on-sea).
“Lane two and three (of three) are closed.”
