Leigh Centurions have confirmed the signing of former Hull FC centre Jack Logan.
The Black and Whites confirmed the departure of Logan on Tuesday, with the club revealing his loan spell had ended to take up a deal elsewhere.
Hull Live had previously revealed that Logan was in talks with the Centurions, with a deal now finalised.
Logan, who started the season with Batley Bulldogs, has now put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at LSV until the end of the season.
Speaking about his short return to the MKM Stadium, Logan said: “Hull came in to take me back on loan and I had a Super League clause in my contract.
“But Batley straight away didn’t stand in my way and wished me well. That showed the character of the people there and I owe them a lot.
“I played one game back at Hull but then the Covid virus hit, and games got postponed and I didn’t get another opportunity. So, when Leigh came in for me it was perfect for me.”
He added: “Everyone I’ve spoken to who’s been at Leigh can’t speak too highly of the place.
“I’m buzzing about the move. Joe Cator, Cam Scott, Tommo (Jordan Thompson) and Ryan Brierley are all mates of mine and they all told me what a passionate town Leigh is for Rugby League and about the great facilities at the Sports Village.
“I’m passionate about what I do and want to play well and enjoy my rugby. This move gives me that opportunity and I intend to make the most of it.
“Looking at the club from a distance you can see what a great club Leigh is. Everyone knows about the drive and ambition of Derek Beaumont and that always comes across when Leigh gets talked about.”
